On the Laredo, Laredo E, Altitude, Limited, and Sterling Edition, this powertrain delivers 26 miles per gallon on the highway and a towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. There’s also an available 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine and an eight-speed transmission on select models for drivers who want to build a more powerful Jeep.<br/><br/>The SRT comes standard with a 6.4-liter HEMI SRT V-8 engine. This delivers 475 horsepower, 470 pound-feet of torque, and a max towing capacity of 7,200 pounds. The Trackhawk has a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that gets 707 horsepower, 645 pound-feet of torque, and a towing capacity of 7,200 pounds.<p></p>
Performance
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a thrilling vehicle to drive, especially with the upgraded engines on the higher trims. The SRT can go from 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, and the Trailhawk can get there in 3.5. Brembo high-performance brakes and launch control, which are available exclusively on the SRT and Trailhawk, give drivers even greater control behind the wheel. Features like available four-wheel drive, the Quadra-Drive I and II systems, and electronic limited-slip rear differential are available on lower trims to create a stellar driving experience.
Interior
Inside the Jeep, drivers can pick from a selection of available suede/Nappa performance seats and Laguna leather performance seats. A 7-inch Uconnect touch-screen comes standard on all Jeep Grand Cherokees, but this can be upgraded to include an 8.4-inch touch-screen. Luxuries such as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof are also available.
